ECAD Implementation Case Study <Aiden Co., Ltd.>

Achieving innovation through IWS (I-DEN Wiring Solution) with wiring measurement functionality.

In the past, manufacturing sites used boards with nail wiring for wiring measurement and processed electrical wires. Additionally, wiring information was created on-site from drawings, and experienced workers were essential for the tasks. Moreover, when mistakes in the drawings were found on-site, it led to rework after correcting the drawings, significantly impacting delivery times. However, after the introduction of this product, verification of drawings, measurement, and consideration of wiring routes can now be done in advance on a PC, eliminating mistakes on-site. What surprised us after the implementation was that even workers who joined this year could perform wiring for control panels without being able to interpret circuit diagrams. The combination of this product and the Wiring Monitor (a monitor equipped with touch functionality) has proven that anyone can perform tasks in a short time while ensuring a certain level of quality. 【Implementation Effects】 ○ Reduced mistakes on-site and achieved shorter delivery times ○ Non-skilled workers can perform wiring for control panels while ensuring a certain level of quality *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Technical Document] Preventing Knowledge Loss: Knowledge Transfer in the Automotive/Aerospace Industry

Recent electrical design tools focus on processes and can systematically address issues related to the accumulation and inheritance of knowledge.

Recently, many companies are facing significant challenges related to knowledge transfer due to issues such as an aging workforce, increasing product complexity, stricter regulations on design verification, shortened design periods, and the reduction in the size of design teams. Traditional software design tools focus primarily on creating drawings and have little functionality for knowledge accumulation. In contrast, recent electrical design tools emphasize processes and can systematically address issues related to knowledge accumulation and transfer. [Contents] - Knowledge transfer - Maximizing data flow while minimizing data input - Reusing designs - Building processes that do not require expert skills - Automation *For more details, please request materials or view the PDF data from the download section.

[Case Study] Sega Corporation

All time for 'fun'! Halve the time for creating harness diagrams.

Sega Corporation, which develops, produces, and sells prize games, video games, and arcade game machines, has introduced our "E3.series." Before the introduction, there were issues such as rework due to manual transcription errors and missed checks. With the introduction of "E3.series," all drawings are centrally managed, and the connections between drawings maintain consistency, which is expected to significantly reduce the frequency of transcription and checking. [Challenges Before Introduction] - Spending 2 hours on the task of drawing one type of harness diagram (2 prototypes + production drawings) - Rework occurring due to manual transcription errors and missed checks - Lacking time to think of technical proposals to make "more interesting games" due to being overwhelmed with work *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Free Web Seminar] Integrated Database Type Electric CAD

We are holding a webinar for electrical designers on the software "E3.series"! We will introduce demonstrations of basic and latest features, as well as operational examples.

We will hold a webinar introducing the software "E3.series" for electrical control and electrical design. The content is primarily aimed at electrical designers involved in wiring design for electronic devices. In electrical design and cable design, issues such as increased man-hours due to manual data entry between various drawings, ensuring consistency, and rework due to mistakes have become significant challenges. With E3.series, design data is managed in a centralized database, allowing real-time linking of design information across multiple drawings, such as "wiring diagrams" and "cable production drawings," ensuring consistency at all times. Additionally, by utilizing a parts library, semi-automation of drawing transcription tasks and automatic output of reports enable the efficient creation of high-quality design data. The webinar will include demonstrations of basic and latest features using actual equipment, as well as case studies of operations, so please be sure to register. Target Audience: - Those who have not yet implemented E3.series - Electrical designers involved in wiring design for electronic devices *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
